An evening of film screenings and live music

Klanghaus is a monthly event featuring local artists representing an array of mediums. Each Klanghaus has a unique theme, or a featured artist, or an experimental method of curation on which the event is built around. Through multimedia, performance and installation we create an immersive atmosphere in which to explore and experiment. We hope that these experiences inspire cross-pollination between different creative communities, collaboration, imagination and excitement.
This month, come explore the relationship between sound and vision with an evening of film screenings and live music, curated in collaboration with Victoria Perenyi.
We’ve selected several pieces by local video artists and assigned them to composers, who in response will create an original score to be performed live in conjunction with the selected film's screening. Like every Klanghaus event, this evening is about the collaboration between artists of different mediums and breaking apart traditional curatorial formats in order to create an intimate evening of creative exploration.
