3 Girls Theatre Company Presents:

2018 New Works FestiVal

Bubble, Bubble Toil and Trouble: 3GT's 7th Annual New Works Festival

July 27 - August 5, 2018 in Z Below

In Shakespeare’s “Scottish Play” (aka Macbeth to the uninitiated . . .  shhhh), 3 witches not only foretell a scary future, but employ the most creative cooking skills in history to whip up a bubbling supernatural stew of discontent. Are things in San Francisco as weird and wicked in 2018 as they were in 11th century Scotland? 3GT stirs the pot with  ten days of unique theater events, all by Bay Area women playwrights. Our entertaining, inspiring  line-up of original readings, performances, on-stage conversations and events offers something (or many things!) for everyone.

We are passionate about engaging the Bay’s diverse multigendered, multicultural audiences, and increasing their access to women’s stories and experiences. With national attention focused on the need to hear women’s voices across the cultural and political spectrum, 3GT’s mission could not be more relevant. The Festival showcases outstanding work from our core 3GT resident playwright development program as well as from our special outreach projects. 2018’s theme will give local theatre artists and audience members a chance to explore our community’s “bubble” from as many perspectives as possible, and we’re excited to see what happens!

TICKETS ARE PAY WHAT YOU CAN AT THE DOOR, BUT YOU CAN RESERVE YOUR SEAT IN ADVANCE FOR ANY SHOW FOR JUST $10.

This show is a unique immersive experience and each showtime can only accommodate six audience members. Like the rest of the festival events, it is $10 for a ticket reservation. However, in order to discourage no-shows, we are charging a $20 refundable fee in addition to the face value. We expect walk-up slots for this show to be more limited than the other shows in the festival.
